I’ve been writing and editing professionally for nearly 20 years. During that time, my essays and features have appeared in national publications, Web sites, and anthologies such as Parenting, ePregnancy Magazine, and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. I’ve also written travel pieces for Disney’s Family.com, as well as two books.

My editorial career includes two years as Managing Editor and Columns Editor of Literary Mama, plus earlier and lengthier stints managing creative content for Microsoft Xbox and editing textbooks for several mainstream publishers. Most recently, I was first editor on the bestselling novel The School of Essential Ingredients.

My blog, MomBrain, has been embarrassing my family since 2003 and was featured in Writer’s Digest as a notable blog and as one of Yahoo’s Top 20 parenting blogs.
